Skiing well is, above all, a matter of trust.
I've been skiing since I was four, in the Apennines in Italy. I raced until I was eighteen, then qualified as a ski instructor, and for the past 5 years I've been working in the Tarentaise, between Les Arcs, Val d'Isère and Tignes.
I'm patient and enthusiastic. I teach every level and every age, with one goal that comes before all others: having fun on the slopes.

We start with games and safety and work up to real first turns. Breaks at the right moment, lots of patience, and parents always kept in the loop.

Three resorts, one valley: the Tarentaise.
I teach in the Tarentaise, in Savoie — the upper Isère valley, at the foot of the Vanoise massif. It is home to two of the largest ski areas in the Alps, Paradiski and Tignes–Val d'Isère, and I work in three of their resorts.
- Les ArcsTogether with La Plagne it forms Paradiski: 425 km of pistes. From the Aiguille Rouge (3,226 m) a 7 km run drops more than 2,000 m, and on clear days you can see Mont Blanc. From Bourg-Saint-Maurice station the funicular takes you up in 7 minutes.
- Val d'IsèreA mountain village at 1,850 m that shares around 300 km of pistes with Tignes. It is home to the Face de Bellevarde, the 1992 Olympic downhill run, and every December it hosts the Critérium de la Première Neige World Cup races.
- TignesThe Grande Motte glacier reaches 3,456 m: reliable snow at the start and end of the season, and high-altitude runs looking out over the Vanoise National Park.

A fantastic lesson. I really enjoyed our lesson — Valentina is very clear in her explanations and her feedback is useful and constructive. She is very friendly and easy to chat to on the lifts. I'll book again.
Valentina was really excellent. She taught our son a much better technique in 2×2 hours.
My daughter (12) and my nephew (17) had two two-hour lessons with Valentina. She was brilliant at helping them build their confidence on the slopes and gave them tips on skiing on ice and in fresh snow. She was very relaxed and easy-going — exactly what they needed. My very experienced 14-year-old son joined them for the second lesson so that Valentina could show them some off-piste routes through the trees, which they all loved. Yesterday we all skied together and couldn't believe how much more they were enjoying themselves on the slopes: self-confidence is everything! Thank you Valentina :)
Valentina took my 5-year-old daughter skiing for the first time. On the first day she was skiing the lower slopes on her own, and on the second day she was skiing the blue runs at the top of the mountain. Very patient and encouraging. Highly recommended.
